Kannada Rajyotsava 2024-25

The Kannada Rajyotsava celebration at Vagdevi Vilas School, Varthur, held on 01/11/2024, was a vibrant and colourful event titled “Vagdevi Kannada Parva.” The day was marked by an array of cultural activities filled with music, dance, and motivational speeches that reflected the essence of Karnataka’s rich heritage and culture.
The program commenced with a welcome to the Chief Guest, Smt. Poorna G, the Academic Advisor, followed by the hoisting of the State Flag, symbolizing unity and pride. The flag hoisting was accompanied by the singing of the state anthem, creating an atmosphere of reverence and respect.
The cultural extravaganza began with a mesmerizing classical dance performance that showcased the grace and beauty of Karnataka’s traditional art forms. Character representations Karnataka’s pride brought the vibrant tales and legends of the state to life, immersing the audience in its cultural richness.
Students enthusiastically participated in a variety of performances that included traditional dance and speeches. Each act was a testament to the students’ dedication and love for their state, as they brought forward Karnataka’s history, culture, and linguistic pride through their creative expressions.
The Chief Guest, Smt. Poorna G, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and fostering a sense of pride in our roots. She encouraged students to embrace the values and traditions of Karnataka while striving for excellence in all aspects of life.
