Euphorepic Ensemble – The Annual Fest (2023-24)

VAGDEVI VILAS SCHOOL, VARTHUR celebrated its Annual Day on 23rd December 2023 with enthusiastic fervour.
The event saw the presence of several distinguished guests that included the eminent chief guest Shri Arun Govil, a thespian best known for portraying Lord Rama in ‘RAMAYAN’ TV series, Chairman, VVI Shri K Harish, CEO Kum Shyallet Sabrina Coelho, Administrator Shri Pramod Bhat, Academic Advisor Smt Poorna G, Principal Smt K Leela Padma,Vice Principal Smt Renugadevi M, Academic Coordinators and Heads of various branches.
They were welcomed by a band of energetic Dollu Kunitha with rhythmic beats till the main stage.
The school invited all the students and their families to be an integral part of this surreal and grand event named “EUPHOREPIC ENSEMBLE”.
The cultural event was set rolling by evoking the blessings of almighty.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest in an innovative way of lamp lighting where 150 lamps were automatically lit at the stroke of a bow by the Chief Guest and forming a pattern “JAI SRI RAM”. It also depicted Ayodhya Ram Temple coming live on stage.
Our Chairman sir formally welcomed the chief guest and all the members to the event. Chief guest was felicitated by the dignitaries of the school followed by the annual report by Principal which included the successful journey of our school in various aspects in 2023-24.
As part of our celebration, pre-primary students were appreciated and acknowledged for the participation in Talents Week followed by Prize Distribution to the winners of CBSE students in various events like Sports, INSEF, Olympiad and for achievements in academics.
The first half of the programme saw the students of the pre-primary Rock and Rollick, mesmerizing the audience with their beautiful performances for foot tapping music, followed by our primary students (Std I-IV) putting up a Splendid Saga “ AJABGARH KI GHAZAB KAHANI”.
The second half of the day was totally taken over by our higher class students with a breathtaking Drishya Kavya: Sarvaguna Sampanna – Sri Ramachandra. That was a spectacular rendition of the timeless repository “RAMAYANA”. A series of mind-blowing performances captivated the audience all through with the divine atmosphere engulfing around. The splendid culmination, as a mark of gratitude to the upcoming inauguration of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya was a grand success! Jai Sri Ram!!
