The essence of patriotism and unity filled the air as Vagdevi Vilas School, Varthur, celebrated the 76th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and fervour on January 26, 2025. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guest, dignitaries, teachers, students, and parents, all coming together to honour this significant national occasion.

The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the Chief Guest, School Principal Smt. Leela Padma, followed by the National Anthem, which resonated with pride and respect for the nation.

One of the key highlights of the event was the march past by the school’s students, accompanied by an impressive band display and Karate demonstration, reflecting their discipline, strength, and dedication.  A series of cultural performances, featuring patriotic song, inspiring speeches, and mesmerizing dance performances, showcased the students’ deep love for their country.

In her address, the Principal emphasized the importance of upholding the values of democracy, unity, and integrity, encouraging students to contribute positively to society. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the heartfelt rendition of Vande Mataram, leaving everyone filled with pride and patriotism.

The event was a true reflection of the school’s commitment to instilling national values in its students.
